Forest Camp – Low Camp (2.970m)

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeeze … N O T – A T – A L L …

I was offered to go to the High Camp this day… Thank God I did not want to 😀 …

This is the third day. I woke up very positive that morning. I knew that we don’t have to go up for too many hours. Just few hours. I’ve missed the point that I was in Himalayas. We left the Forest Camp at 9am because the distance is a bit shorter, but it was very difficult, like veeeery difficult. Like more than difficult. I wanted to die. I wanted to forget this trip. I wanted to hide myself. I wanted to run away. I pretended that’s all good. I pretended I was good and happy. Fuck NO. I wasn’t. Haha. Third day, you have to ask yourself. I had to stop every few seconds and wait another few seconds. The worst part of climbing was going through a forest with all clouds. The clouds were everywhere. It was a pretty surprise for me how cannot I take a breath. One thing was very interesting for me, the time stopped there. No wind, no time, no sounds, such a quiet area. Very quiet and the forest was really beautiful. Check few moments from photos.

So, I am staying in a “Rock’n Roll” ‘Hotel Machhapuchre Samjhana and Restaurant’. It is still cloudy everywhere. I can’t see anything surround us. No mountains around us. There are mountains but they are hiding. I am enjoying the whole day off. Madan told me the meaning of Machhapuchre, Machha means ‘fish’ and Puchre means ‘tail’, so it is the Fishtail Hotel. I am going to write some notes about having an accommodation for free. And I am very sorry for my friends from France, but I didn’t know them till we met again, and I really didn’t know we could’ve become friends, especially with Roxanne, but I have to. I don’t know why but a lot of French people asking for a room for free. If they are going to eat, they wouldn’t pay for a room. I am so sorry guys, but shame on you. The room for two is around AU $5! That’s so strange for me. How dare you. Whatever. I got it later why did they ask for rooms without paying. And I fully understand. I am happy I am staying in a clean and warm environment I paid, and I liked to pay for it because it goes for these Nepalese people and I am sorry, but I can’t believe it. Whatever I’d met again Roxanne and Alex, the loveliest Frenches ever. Love you girls to the moon and back.
