Such a beautiful, long, empty beach with a few cafes close by and clear water with rocks and clifts. It is easy to access. Mona Vale is located at the junction of two major roads (Mona Vale Road A3 and Pitterwater Road A8) and is accessible by B-Line bus from central Sydney (Wynyard Station). approximately one hour from the city.
Please, enjoy more pictures below. There is another beach – Warriewood Beach – a blowhole that I didn’t see that day. But be aware of it, and do not jump from the clifts to the water.
It is located off Surfview Road (the beach’s northern end). There are two rock pools – one suitable for toddlers and a larger pool measuring 30 metres for bigger kids and adults. Located opposite the beach is Apex Park, which offers electric BBQs, picnic tables, a shaded children’s play area and a children’s bike path. Cafes are located nearby on Darley Street. Change rooms and toilets are available. Mona Vale rock pool is unavailable approximately three hours before listed cleaning times and about 12 hours after, depending upon prevailing seas. Pay and display parking is available.
Buying my photos will support my travelling to make more pictures and galleries for needy people. I aim to help children; every A$1 from one image will go to them. Dismiss
