High Camp – the First View Point, 4.000m

I did it. No words needed. Nothing matters. It is just you, myself and my new friends. My thoughts. And very and very far away from a reality lifestyle.

You never know whom you can meet on your way through the forest.

July, 2019

Early morning … First impression …

Early in the morning, 4am. “Wake up” calling. And you have to go, otherwise, you won’t see anything. But it is worthy. 7°C, the sky is clear, stars on it and being surrounded by Himalayas mountains is incredible, unbelievable, I can’t just stop staring at the sky. (No pictures because I don’t have a better camera.)

BUT …

There are so many thoughts in my brain. I can’t believe that I can be actually on the top of the world (almost). Last days were very difficult. “What am I doing here?” Over and over again I was asking myself. Somewhere behind my head something was saying: “You will do it, just do it!” “Go” “Make it” “Get up” and “Go” … Go forward to the stars … Your dream … Make it … You will love it.

Heading to the top of 4.000 m

What to say. It wasn’t easy to claim to the Mardi Himal Point such as signs saying ‘Tea Shops’ NO TEA SHOPS at all in July 😀 … But Yak Milk… Oh Yeah… Milk and cheese. From locals, farmers having Yaks. Real hard-working people. I can’t imagine their lives being there every single day and doing their job. However, I came to experience something different and spectacular. So, seeing South Annapurna from 4.000m above sea level is magnificent. I have fallen in love with Machhapuchhre and I can’t wait to go there with my Nepalese friends again. Our best spectacular view from 4.000m is magical, breath-taking and unforgettable.

So, and that’s it… My first 4000m and I want to get more some day :). This is something that everyone should try one day. Something can get you toward a different point of you how to see your life pleasurable. Something can get you toward a different point of your life and to see your journey more pleasurable. So, take or pick anything to your palms and do what can make you happier.

And I loved it. I loved the feeling being there, being myself and being nowhere.
